Jerold B. Pozner was born in New York City the day the stock market crashed. After an occupation as an electrical contractor in New York, he relocated to Florida where he operated a lighting fixture distribution business and then finished his career in Real Estate Sales. Upon retirement, he turned his interest to writing novels and screenplays. This is his first novel. He is a member of several fiction and freelance writer's organizations.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. With his military experience, this prompted him to write a novel with a war background and he turned his attention to the Vietnam War Era, writing Monkey Pudding. The screenplay version he adapted from this novel has won various awards in several national screenplay contests.
